Rancho Cielo Community Information
This website was created to provide Rancho Cielo residents with information, resources, and a place to share ideas related to wildfire preparedness, landscaping, home maintenance, and community topics.
Our community is located in a high wildfire risk area, and many residents are interested in learning more about ways to reduce wildfire risk around their homes and properties. This site is intended to provide general information, examples, and links to official resources such as the Orange County Fire Authority and Firewise programs.
The goal of this site is to share information and ideas, not to tell homeowners what they must do. Many residents have already made improvements to their homes and landscaping to reduce wildfire risk, and this site provides a place to share ideas and experiences so others can learn from them if they choose.
Firewise Community
Rancho Cielo is a certified Firewise community, and we work with the Orange County Fire Authority and other wildfire preparedness organizations to help improve safety and preparedness in our neighborhood.
The Firewise program encourages communities to work together to:

- Reduce wildfire risk
- Share information and resources
- Improve community preparedness
- Support firefighters and emergency responders
- Increase community awareness and cooperation
Wildfire preparedness is most effective when entire neighborhoods work together rather than individual homeowners working alone.
